Power lithium battery, also known as secondary battery, is a chemical product of lithium metal or lithium alloy. The positive active material of lithium battery is mainly carbon, lithium and oxygen; the negative active material is mainly graphite, titanate compounds and transition metals (such as cobalt, manganese).
As lithium batteries have the advantages of high voltage and light weight, they are widely used in electric bicycles.
Power lithium batteries are battery packs that can provide greater power. There are two main types of power type batteries commonly used in electric vehicles on the market today: lithium iron phosphate and ternary material:
Lithium iron phosphate as the cathode material power lithium battery has a large capacity, small size and other characteristics, its energy density can reach 150Wh/kg ~ 250wh/kg or so, the cycle life of up to 2,000 times or more; but due to the higher price and poor stability and other reasons and less used.
The power lithium battery made of ternary material as cathode material has the features of good safety and long service life, and its energy density can reach about 300wh/kg~400wh/kg; however, it is seldom used due to high cost and unstable performance.
As a new type of high-energy electrode material, ternary material is widely used in the power system of electric vehicles, which has good electrochemical performance and high specific capacity and cycle life:
